In your books, you talk about eternal investments only counting if you give them away in your lifetime. So, putting a charitable organization in your will—does that count?

Regardless of whether we are rewarded in the same way we would have been if we'd trusted God to give it away while we were still alive, it is obviously still wise, and in that sense perhaps rewardable, to leave behind money to God's kingdom. But since we have no choice but to leave it behind, whether to one place or another, I don't think it requires the trust and dependence and faith of giving it away while we're alive. That actually involves sacrifice in a way that simply designating money in a will doesn't. Again, though, I'm of course all in favor of leaving money to church and worthy ministries.
