When I mentioned your book Heaven and how excited I was about the New Earth, a friend of mine thought it sounded like something the Jehovah Witnesses believe in. I have read the Scriptures you have so very readily made available in the book and I don't understand why they believe this to be the case. Could you advise on how different the Scriptures reveal this truth vs. the cultish beliefs of the Jehovah Witnesses? Answered by Randy Alcorn What matters isn't what someone else says, but what the Bible says. The Jehovah Witnesses are wrong in many number of areas about the New Earth. However, their belief that there will be a New Earth is correct. Many cults also believe that God created the world and that Christ was
resurrected. Are they wrong in those specific beliefs? No. They are right
to believe these truths. However, they are very wrong on many other important
and foundational core beliefs that go against what Scripture says.
