This 12-week study is designed for personal reflection followed by discussion with a partner or group. Any of the questions in the study can serve as the basis for profitable discussion, but you'll find in each lesson several questions written specifically for dialogue between you and a partner or group.

The Treasure Principle Study Guide (4 week lessons) by LifeWay Resources

Highlighting the infinite value of heavenly treasures over earthly ones, this study will teach you how to collect treasures that will last for all eternity. You will acknowledge God's ownership of all things while accepting your role as His money manager. Six biblical keys will guide you to use your money and possessions to make deposits in heaven. As you get a glimpse of the life-changing joy of giving, you will discover the hidden treasure that awaits those who invest in eternity. And you'll know why you could never be content with less.

The Treasure Principle includes four weeks of Bible study for individuals to complete in five daily segments. A leader guide at the back of the book provides plans for a four- or five-session group study.

The Treasure Principle Workshop

The Treasure Principle Workshop, by Crown Financial Ministries is a complete kit that includes the following:

a. one Student Workbook with audio CD (one workbook recommended per individual or couple)
b. one Leader's Guide with leader's resource CD (the resource CD contains many helpful items such as posters, tickets, bulletin inserts, and PowerPoint® presentations to enhance the study) and your choice of aVHS video set (2 tapes) or a DVD video set (2 discs).

Using the same teaching material, it can be conveniently taught in three main teaching formats (more detailed information is located in the “Teaching Formats” section below):

All-Day Seminar (1 - six hour session)
Weekend Workshop (2 - half day sessions)
Six Week Bible Study (6 - one hour sessions)

No special leader training is required. Simply use the enclosed video and Leader's Guide that is included in the workshop, and you're ready to start!

Teaching Format Options
This workshop is easily adapted to a wide variety of presentation formats that are listed and described below. Regardless of the format you choose, we believe the material will make a powerful impact on your students.

1. All-Day Seminar: Covers the entire curriculum in a single day. Can be used as an all-day Saturday seminar for any adult group in a church, business, neighborhood, or family. Also consider an all-day seminar for an “off-campus” retreat.
A PowerPoint® presentation is provided if you prefer to do a live presentation without the use of the video series.
2. Weekend Workshop: Covers the curriculum in two three-hour sessions. The two sessions could be scheduled on two consecutive Saturday mornings, a Friday evening/Saturday morning combination, two nights of a single week, or one night each week for two weeks.
3. Six Week Bible Study: Covers the curriculum in six or twelve sessions depending on the needs of the group. The sessions could be scheduled as weekly or monthly small group meetings in homes, businesses, or churches.
4. Sunday School Class or Wednesday/Sunday Evening Educational Elective: Covers the curriculum in twelve sessions. The group can use two class periods to view each DVD segment, discuss it, and review the associated homework.
5. Summary Presentation: a summary presentation of the material is provided if you need to give a quick overview of the study in 45-60 minutes.

Each “Session” is divided into 1-hour segments that have to be customized to which of the three optional formats is being utilized:

Welcome (5-minutes)
This session's video teaching (20-minutes to 30-minutes)
This session's discussion time (15-minutes to 20-minutes)
This session's wrap-up and next session's overview and homework assignment.

Recommended schedules are provided that thoroughly explain how to implement each of the optional teaching formats.

The Generous Church Tool Kit

(4-week Program by Generous Giving for Cultivating Generous Living in Your Church)

This set includes one book, The Treasure Principle, one DVD that includes four 5-minute Giving Warriors vignettes that tell the story of four of history’s greatest givers (to be used in worship service) and one Resource CD-ROM.

The Resource CD Rom includes:
