The Gift of God-Honoring Laughter
Nanci and I laugh together every day, often hilariously. Sometimes we can’t stop. When our now-grown girls were young, there was always a lot of giggling and laughing and carrying on at the dinner table, and Nanci and I were in the thick of it.





I love the transcendence of great music. God, the Creator of Music, gifts His image bearers to praise Him, some knowing Him, some not.
No, this blog is not about reducing wallet size by giving away your cash. A writer friend recently shared that he had been diagnosed with “Wallet Sciatica,” intense pain caused by his large wallet. It reminded me of something from my past.
If you enjoy nature and nature photography like I do, you’ll love this. And relax...no blood is spilled.
I am Scotch-Irish (or some prefer Scottish-Irish), descending back to three Alcorn brothers who lived in Belfast long ago. There are indications the three brothers came from Scotland.
Laughter is God’s gift, and all the more when we face hard days. Jesus promised “Blessed [the word involves a divine impartation of what causes genuine happiness] are you who weep now, for you will laugh” (Luke 6:21).

Recently when we were filming in my office, our Golden retriever Maggie, who is growing more each day, made a guest appearance. Thought I would share it with you. Maggie is a gift from God to Nanci and me. We love dogs in general and this one in particular.
