This is a new trailer for the movie Courageous, which I’ve been writing the novel Courageous to correspond to. There are some great action scenes and humorous moments, as well as heart-touching themes related to courageous fatherhood.
While researching a novel I’m writing based on the upcoming movie Courageous (from Sherwood Pictures), I recently read what I would call a GREAT book on parenting: Gospel-Powered Parenting: How the Gospel Shapes and Transforms Parenting, William P. Farley (Phillipsburg, NJ: P&R Publishing, 2009).
Earlier this month I said yes to writing a novel based on the screenplay of the new movie Courageous. Both the movie and novel will be released a year from now. The movie is being done by the Kendrick brothers, Stephen and Alex (pictured with me on the right), who produced Facing the Giants and Fireproof, and will be distributed by Sony.
