Recently my son-in-law Dan Franklin, married to my daughter Karina, wrote a very insightful article on his Facebook page. Dan is the teaching pastor at Life Bible Fellowship in Upland, California. Dan takes a fresh slant on new developments in the abortion debate.
Several weeks ago I preached at my home church, Good Shepherd Community Church, on Romans 8, especially verse 28, “In all things God works for the good of those who love him, those called according to his purpose.” The following week my pastor Dan Franklin (who’s the husband of our daughter Karina) gave an outstanding message based on John 11.
This weekend at my home church, Good Shepherd Community, three good friends and I brought a group message from Romans 14. As you can see, we were having a good time. And hopefully we helped open up the passage. Different people bring different insights to a passage, and this passage is about differentness.
