The Mind-blowing 180 Movie

Some of you have heard about the excellent 180 Movie, done by Ray Comfort and his ministry. It’s mind-blowing and unforgettable, a reminder that the truth can change your heart and set you free.

I don’t know how many stories like this I’ve heard over the years, but I don’t think we can be too often reminded of what abortion does to women. I’ve talked with women, seen them weep, and have written whole chapters on this (including “Does Abortion Harm a Woman’s Physical and Mental Health?”) in my books Why Pro-Life? and ProLife Answers to ProChoice Arguments.
I served on the board of the first crisis pregnancy center in the Pacific Northwest back in the 1980s, so the work that Pregnancy Resource Centers across the country (under the umbrella of the national organization, Care Net) are doing to save unborn babies is close to my heart.
There have been a lot of good prolife videos over the years, but this one ranks near the top. Think of everyone you know, younger and older, and ask them to invest three minutes of their time to watch this.
Remember the notorious Pennsylvania abortionist exposed in January, whose practices even the secular media labeled as inhuman and monstrous? (See my blog post.) Well, here is yet another abortionist, James Pendergraft, in an honored place in a prochoice march just a few years ago, defending his right to make millions of dollars killing children
This two-minute video is from Life International, a prolife ministry that views the global issues created by abortion as a mission field. The video ties the abortion issue to the gospel, which I really like. It’s great for your own information, or possibility for using at your church. I really like that abortion isn’t made to feel like an add-on issue, but that it naturally connects with people’s need for the gospel.
We recently asked a physician expert to answer an email question we received that was way out of my league. Dr. Jessica Farnsworth gave such an excellent reply that we got her permission to use it as a guest blog. Thanks, Jessica!
The question: What things should we consider about intra-uterine inception (the precursor to in vitro fertilization)?
My wife and I have been trying to have children for about two years now, to no avail.
“Can I Live?” is a powerful video from Nick Cannon. I was struck with the lyrics about morning sickness versus the sickness of mourning. I thank God for this message—trust me, it’s well worth four minutes of your time.
A couple of weeks ago, we asked my blog readers to submit questions for me to answer. Here’s my answer to another one of them.
The specific question asked was, “What is the darkest or most difficult experience you have had to date that you are willing to share?”
The video in this blog, "How Should Christian Couples Approach Family Planning?" is part 5 of my interview with Mark Driscoll. (Watch all the interview videos.) You might like to check out my book I referenced in the video, Does the Birth Control Pill Cause Abortions?, which is also available for free as a PDF in its entirety.
In this blog I've included part of a conversation between two Christians who have different viewpoints on the issue of birth control, as well as a link to the complete article
