Christian students often encounter areas of struggle between their beliefs and their actions. Westmont students in particular often come across such a struggle on the topic of wealth and its use.
Last semester, religious studies professor Dr. Helen Rhee's class Wealth and Poverty in Christian History created a survey for Westmont students regarding wealth, poverty and the ways in which students act on these issues. Recently the Horizon followed suit with its own survey on the subject.

Orphanages Can Be Used Greatly by God
My friend Doug Nichols, founder and international director emeritus of ACTION International Ministries, wrote this article about the importance of orphanages, and why we can't just leave street children on the street. He writes:

God at work through Russian translations of books
One thing I really enjoy as an author is getting to see my books translated into languages around the world and hear how the Lord is using them. It's a great joy to open the boxes when these translated books arrive at my door.
