Do you plan to write more fiction?

Fiction booksI just finished a short fiction project, a graphic novel (if you’re not familiar with the term, that’s an extended comic book form) that is going to be titled Eternity. It’s a story about the rich man and Lazarus from Luke 16.

Anticipating What God Has Promised: “Life Promises for Eternity”

Life Promises for EternityAnticipating Heaven doesn’t eliminate life’s pain, but it lessens it and puts it in perspective. Meditating on God’s eternal promises is a great pain reliever. It reminds us that suffering and death are temporary conditions.

Randy’s Books for Prisoners

Throughout the 21 years of EPM’s existence, we’ve received countless encouraging letters from readers, sharing how God has used Randy’s books to inspire them to live in light of eternity. But some of the most touching letters we’ve received are from a specific group of people: prisoners.

Endorsements and Book Reviews of The Resolution

The Resolution For Men is a MUST read for any man who truly wants to be more Godly and live out his life Resolutionwith conviction and courage before God, his family and his fellow man. What is neat about the book is that it provides its reader essential and practical helps so that he can achieve the goal of becoming a man for God in such a time as this. Readers’ Responses to Eternal Perspectives

Eternal PerspectivesI love this book! I keep putting it down after two to three chapters and then find myself picking it right back up again. There are so many quotes... and to think of all the people from way back who thought so much about Heaven. It’s a great book and I’m just getting started!  -F.B., age 90

Is it easy to read the books you’ve written?

Question from a reader:

You mentioned that you had to re-read Safely Home before a book discussion. Is it easy to read a book you've written?

Answer from Randy Alcorn:

No, it's not easy to read a book I've written, but listening to the audio really helped in this case because it's someone else's voice, not mine, and the reader, Steve Sever, did a great job.

Q&A: Courageous

Do you think the time if ripe for men to receive the message of Courageous?

I really do. I think there are a lot of men in this culture who are just waiting to be challenged. In my experience, whenever men’s ministries in churches have challenged men to be godly men, there are many who step forward. But there are numerous churches that simply need a tool that can be used to make that challenge. I believe the Courageous movie and the related books and studies are an instrument that God can greatly use, and I expect Him to ...

Courageous novel honors script, adds characters and context

A September 2011 interview with Randy Alcorn by Randall Murphree for OneNewsNow.com.

Car chases, shootouts, gang activity, corrupt cops, clear-cut villains and heroes, and the eternal confrontation between good and evil -- they're all present in Courageous the movie, which goes to theaters next week. The same elements and more also fill the pages of Courageous the novel.

Photo Slideshow from Randy Alcorn’s trip to Georgia to Research Courageous

In October of 2010 Randy took a trip to Albany Georgia to research the setting and filming location of the movie Courageous in order to write the novel of the same name. These are some of his pictures, video clips and memories from the trip.
