Do I believe a Christian can sin, and even live in sin for a time? Yes. Do I believe that a Christian can be disobedient to God? Of course. But I would say that homosexual relations are an abomination to God.

The main character, Ollie Chandler, is an unbeliever. He blames a God he’s not sure exists for the loss of his wife to cancer; he’s haunted by the death of another loved one; and he’s alienated from his grown daughters.
I remember various secular media interviews where they couldn’t figure out how a murder mystery could have a spiritual theme! They would say things like wow, that was an interesting story, and….that other-worldly stuff was…well, it was different, wasn’t it?
As I’m sure many of you are, Nanci and I have been burdened for the people of Japan. We’ve been praying for people there, especially the believers, that the gospel could be spread in the midst of devastation.
With so many heartbreaking reports of death and loss, this news story telling the rescue of a baby girl is a wonderful glimpse of God’s mercy and saving grace.
Another question a reader asked me on my blog was this: Even though I gave my heart to the Lord a long time ago, I always struggle with thoughts that when I die, I will find I am not saved.
