EPM STAFF

Front row: Stephanie Hallman, Katherine Simons, Bonnie Hiestand, Linda Jeffries, Sharon Misenhimer, Dwight Myers
Back row: Kathy Norquist, Janet Albers, Randy Alcorn, Nanci Alcorn

Kathy Norquist is Randy's ministry assistant. She was a secretary to Randy for many years when he was a pastor and has enjoyed the privilege of working with him in ministry. Kathy handles Randy's speaking arrangements, radio interviews, correspondence, proofreading, and a variety of other tasks to help Randy. Kathy is also on EPM's Board of Directors.

Married for 37 years, she has two daughters, a son and eight grandchildren. When she's not working at EPM she enjoys time with her family (especially those adorable grandchildren!), baking, reading, gardening, and traveling. More from Kathy

Bonnie Hiestand is the secretary at EPM. She was also a secretary for Randy for several years when he was a pastor. Bonnie designs the Eternal Perspectives Newsletter and other graphics projects, transcribes resources for book projects and speaking engagements, and formats website material.

She has been married for 20 years and enjoys family time with her husband Dennis, daughter Jennifer, and son Chris. Bonnie's hobbies include spending time with family and friends, quilting and reading.

Janet Albers serves as financial secretary for EPM—receiving contributions, writing checks, maintaining financial records, and preparing reports. She also proofreads when needed.

Janet has been married to Gary, a retired elementary school teacher, for 37 years. They have four children and six grandchildren. Janet's main occupation for the past 30 years has been "mother"—and still is. In her "spare" time she enjoys reading and knitting.

Linda Jeffries is Randy's and Kathy's assistant. She considers it a joy to serve the Lord in this ministry. Linda facilitates the office and volunteers. She also answers correspondence and telephone calls, along with assisting Randy and Kathy with a variety of tasks.

Linda has been married to her high school sweetheart, Kerry, for 25 years. They have three children: daughter Erin is 14 years old, son Christopher is 21, and Adam, who is 23 and married to his high school sweetheart, Wendy. Linda enjoys sewing, crafts, and reading. A perfect day for her would be spending time with her husband and kids at home.

Catherine Simons is a part-time secretary at EPM, assisting the other staff in assigned projects and performing general office duties. She also works as receptionist as needed and enjoys all aspects of customer service. She feels this is not only a job but a ministry.

She served churches in the capacity of pastor's wife for over 20 years. Several years ago she and her husband Dennis established a non-profit organization, Chaplain Services, Inc., to support their chaplaincy ministry to Emergency Service Workers. While her husband is the primary chaplain on a full-time basis, Catherine assists him in the areas of ministry care, material preparation and record keeping. She loves the busy life she has and feels blessed that is so full of ministry opportunities.

She has been married for 44 years and has two children (daughter Kelly and son Dan) and four grandchildren. Her life includes travel (especially to see her daughter's family on the East Coast), hiking and long walks on the beach, hospitality and lots of friends. She also loves to read, cook and create things for home and gifts for others. People are definitely a priority in her life.

Stephanie Hallman is the promotions director at EPM. She updates the website, creates audio clips, oversees book promotions, and creates the monthly E-News Update.

Stephanie is a full-time student studying English Communications at Corban College. When she’s not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with family, her boyfriend Dan, and friends.

Sharon Misenhimer is a part-time secretary at EPM, and has a long history of volunteering at EPM. She has been married to Joe for 38 years. They have a daughter, Erin, who is 23 and a son, Seth, who is 14. They love doing things together as a family.

Sharon enjoys watching Seth's sporting events, getting together with family and friends, reading, and flower gardening.

Dwight Myers is the shipping clerk for EPM. He also takes part in inventory control and the receiving of incoming book shipments from publishers and suppliers. Dwight has been married to Dawn for 51 years. They have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

EPM BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Front row: Paul Martin, Nanci Alcorn, Robin Green, Kress Drew
Back row: Steve Keels, Randy Alcorn, Kathy Norquist, Jay Echternach

Paul Martin has worked as a paramedic in the Portland area for over 30 years. His main calling is personal and small group apprentice training in the local church. He and his brother Dave lead Apprentices to the Master classes, where it is their joy to see the development of mature, joyful, reproducing followers of Jesus. His daughter Amy, her husband Jacob, and their 3 children live in Boston which has taken on second "home city" status for him. Paul feels that it is a great privelege for him to serve with EPM. Randy's writings, along with his friendship have been very significant encouragements to his own growth and ministry!

Randy and Nanci Alcorn have been married for 32 years. They have 2 married daughters and 4 grandsons—all of whom live close by. Randy enjoys reading, tennis, biking, and when he gets the chance—snorkeling. Nanci enjoys reading, exercising their dog Moses, watching professional football, and traveling with Randy. They both love spending time with their growing family.

Robin Green is a 3rd grade teacher in Southern California. Shaping the next generation 20 children at a time is quite a challenge, but nothing compared to her husband who teaches 8th graders 36 at a time! She has 3 grown children (now known as 'men') and it is her joy to see the Lord working in their lives. Gardening, hiking, quilting and reading have been her favorite spare time activities. Her most recent challenging book was a gift from Randy: Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper.

Kress Drew is blessed to be a local high school math teacher and football coach, and feels truly honored and thankful to work with people at such an exciting time of life. He is excited to be in his first year as an EPM Board member. Kress also enjoys many other things such as hiking, biking, running, and reading. He has also been very blessed to travel overseas on six different short-term mission teams reaching out to others and sharing God’s love with them in many wonderful ways.

Steve Keels has been on the EPM board since its beginning. He and his wife Sue have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. Steve has been a pastor at Good Shepherd Community Church for over 25 years.

Jay Echternach has been on the EPM Board since 1991. He started Walk Off Sales in 2006 and is an independent sales representative for Christian book publishers. He is also EPM's Administrator. Jay has been married to Deborah Kay for 31 years and has 2 grown children, Jayson and Jennifer. He is also a high school baseball coach, teaches junior high, and enjoys fly fishing and golf.
