Most people who’ve enjoyed the children’s stories of Beatrix Potter, C. S. Lewis, or others who wrote of talking animals have probably never seriously considered the possibility that some animals might actually have talked in Eden or that they might talk on the New Earth.

In this clip, Randy Alcorn highlights God's value of all living creatures, not just humans, demonstrated in the covenant He made after the flood. The Lord specifically says that He is making the covenant with Noah and all the animals with him in the ark. This video clip was excerpted from Randy's Eternity 101 DVD class.

Throughout Scripture we read that animals praise God. I don't know exactly how animals praise God, but our inability to understand it shouldn't keep us from believing it.
