I have dealt with many of the things that you may feel you are dealing with right now, too – like, why did God let this happen? Will God heal me? Is healing a matter of having enough faith and believing it’s true?...

This is the “ultimate resource” on Heaven outside the Bible. I think it would be especially useful for pastors and writers. However, it’s also a fun book to read whether you select topics of interest or read from cover-to-cover. This quote from J.C. Ryle summarizes it well.

It feels like cruel and unnecessary manipulation when you say that “One of the great ironies of our culture is that fathers spend more time making money and less time with their children.” I spend a lot of time with my kids, but am I to feel guilty for working hard to support my family?
Working hard and making money to care for your family is a great and biblical thing. I did it and I'm glad you are too. I also spent a lot of time with my kids. But of course, that's NOT what I'm talking about.
