Therefore God will honor the work of his Son by raising your body from the dead, and you will use your body to glorify him forever and ever. That is why you have a body now. And that is why it will be raised imperishable.

he following letter is from a mother to her child whom she carried to term after being told the baby would not live outside the womb. Nevaeh was born July 29, 2002, and went home to Jesus a few hours after birth.
Dearest Nevaeh,
Our time together is too quickly coming to an end. I’m going to miss you so much. You will never know me or the depth of my love for you here on earth. I am writing you this letter so that I will never forget a single part of your short little life within me. Because of you I will never be the same. You’ve already taught me so many things. Here is how you first touched my heart...
You go from loving and being with Christ here, to loving and being with Christ there.
“A Theology of Heaven” will explore biblical indications of what happens at death; the intermediate state, as distinguished from the final state; the resurrection and final judgment; the nature of the new earth-centered heaven; the judgment seat of Christ; eternal rewards; and reigning with Christ.
Discerning Christians with a strong biblical theology can pick out the good and toss the bad. Unfortunately, most who read the book (and see the movie) will not do that, and indeed may be incapable of doing so. They will tend to swallow not only the true parts or the conditionally true (if....then) parts, but all of it, including the false assumptions and wishful thinking that underlie it.
But thanks be to God, all who repent of their sin and follow Jesus Christ will someday be in the “land of the LIVING”!
