Forgiving Hurt

By Randy Alcorn | October 1, 2012
In October of 2012 Randy spent a weekend at The Cove, The Billy Graham Association's conference center in Asheville, NC. Over the weekend Randy was interviewed by Dr. John Akers on the theme "Four Central Truths of A Biblical Worldview."
When grace and truth are not balanced people can cause deep hurt. John asks Randy how we forgive people who have hurt us. Randy asserts that the key is that we must forgive as we have been forgiven and explains Jesus' parable on this topic. The reality is that what we have done against the infinitely holy God is far worse than what anyone has ever done against us. This doesn't minimize the hurt the person has done against us but it puts it into perspective. For more information about “The Grace and Truth Paradox” please visit
