The Bible teaches human beings are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27; James 3:9). Not just Adam and Eve, but each individual since has been personally created by God (Malachi 2:10). Personhood is never measured by age, stage of development, or mental, physical, or social skills (Exodus 4:11).

The first time 7-year-old Emily Bausch met Norma McCorvey, she had no idea she had come face to face with an icon of the pro-abortion movement—”Jane Roe” of Roe v. Wade. To Emily, “Miss Norma” was just another person who needed Jesus.
“I wanted Miss Norma to become a Christian so she wouldn’t go to hell,” Emily told Citizen.
Emily’s mother, Ronda Mackey, is the office manager for Operation Rescue’s (OR) national headquarters in Dallas. Mackey takes daughters Emily and Chelsey, 4, to the office with her.
Possible Post-conceptional Effects of Hormonal Birth Control
CMDA holds firmly that God is the Creator of life, that life begins at conception, and that all human life is of infinite value. We support measures to protect life from its earliest beginnings.
CMDA recognizes that there are differing viewpoints among Christians regarding the broad issue of birth control and the use of contraceptives. The issue at hand, however, is whether or not hormonal birth control methods have post-conceptional effects (i.e., cause abortion). CMDA has consulted many experts in the field of reproduction who have reviewed the scientific literature. While there ...

“Rescuing” is a united action in which people peacefully place their bodies in front of the entrances of an abortion clinic. The purpose is to prevent access to the clinic, and to thereby save the lives of unborn children who would otherwise be killed shortly after their mothers enter the building.
Why Common Ground?
At a march in Washington, a pro-life activist comes face to face with a pro-choice activist.
Pro-Life: You’re a murderer.
Pro-Choice: You hate women.
Their discussion is short and to the point. Or, pointless.
Isn’t there a better way?
There’s a lot of abortion “discussion” among activists—combative rants where the participants talk at each other. Do they listen? Only enough to construct their next volley.

1. Tailor your presentation to your audience, so you’re speaking to them, not yourself.
2. Do your homework. The other position can afford to be ignorant of the facts. You can’t.
3. Present the facts logically, clearly and succinctly, citing credible sources, secular whenever possible. (PLA contains hundreds of such sources.)
Note from Randy: I’m printing this disturbing letter I recently received in the hopes that its implicit anti-Semitism and denial and distortion of reality will serve as a wake-up call to morally conservative Christians who are tempted to look the other way from racism and denial of racial atrocities. The writer of the letter makes some good points about Christians being persecuted throughout history, and with that I certainly agree. However, to deny the slaughter of Jews in Europe during WWII is to edit the realities of history. Jesus said Satan is a liar and a murderer. If my involvement in the abortion issue has taught me anything, it’s that when murder happens on a large scale, it is always accompanied by lies to cover that murder.

A Dialogue Between a Prolife Christian Ethicist and a Christian Who is Arguing that Abortion is Not Off Limits for Christians
I have come to the conclusion that abortion may not be as off limits for Christians as the church professes it to be be. I have laid out my argument below. What do you think?
