Alcorn is astounded that the majority of Christians possess faulty, nonbiblical assumptions about heaven.
It’s an old question, and the one question that reportedly kept Albert Einstein from becoming a Christian: “If God is good, then why does evil exist?”
Randy Alcorn has written a new book, If God Is Good, and I would urge you to pick up a copy. If you’ve never asked this question yourself, you’re bound to know someone who has. Randy explains things in a simple, easy-to-read format, but his answers are biblical, well-researched, and deeply profound. Learn how to take God’s word and apply it to what appears to be a most perplexing conundrum.
The Ishbane Conspiracy by Angela, Karina and Randy Alcorn explores one year in the life of a group of teen-agers and the battle between light and darkness.
It is very similar in writing style to the better known book by C. S. Lewis (The Screwtape Letters).
When the night ended, they had enough money in hand to provide over 4,100 Bibles to the people of China.
The Purity Principle, by Randy Alcorn, is THE MUST READ for anyone who is serious about walking the walk that is worthy of Christ exhorted by the Apostle Paul in Eph. 4: 1.
My husband and I are now almost done with your 50 Days of Heaven devotional book—reading/discussing together. It has also encouraged greater intimacy in our relationship by knowing what we will experience together someday. I long for others to know more about heaven and it pains me when I can see that they don’t have a biblically sound view of it. — D. E.
50 Days of Heaven is such a great book for answering questions you may have about what Heaven will be like. — G. T.
I was pleasantly surprised by Deadline. What impressed me most about the book, was not the general storyline but how it was written. The characters were very real and the book even showed the conversations Jake and the others have even with themselves. The debates and questions in their minds were very real. Alcorn also does a good job at describing Heaven and Hell. He takes a little liberty with the angels but also has a disclaimer at the back of the book. Even how he describes different aspects of Heaven or Hell was well done. Something else impressive, is that the book demonstrates how to live like a Christian in a world that does not have the same moral standards. It confronts some of the big issues but also portrays a realistic view of persecution for standing up for what’s right. This book covered so many aspects of the Christian life that I actually felt that the book drew me closer to God and strengthened my spiritual walk. — S.
will bring you back to the style of the old detective novels featuring such famous sleuths as Sam Spade, Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot, and references them throughout, as well as sticking to the ideals of those heroes. There is very little in the way of “bad language,” as you might expect from a Christian author, but despite the modern setting, this all seems very natural as Ollie Chandler (although most definitely not believer himself) is a man of principle and honour.

Family physician stops prescribing all forms of hormonal contraception.
I am a family physician in Canada and a follower of Jesus Christ. I was recently given a copy of Does the Birth Control Pill cause Abortions? I was trained in the 1980s and believed that the pill worked by preventing ovulation. After a month of study and prayer, I have decided to stop prescribing all forms of hormonal contraception.
I just finished my first Randy Alcorn book, Dominion. I am 71 years old and have been an avid reader all my life, but I am a “baby Christian.” That book is the best book I’ve read in my life! Your gripping story thought me so much about racial issues and solidified my faith in a way that nothing else has. I am so grateful, and can’t wait to read the rest of your books. — C. M.
Edge of Eternity is one of the best books I have ever read, both as a literature fan and as a Christian.
I’ve probably read the book cover to cover about 15 times and still to this day every time I read it I can’t help but cry like a baby at the beautiful imagery. Every time I read the part where the woodsman tells Nick Seagrave that “I did it all for you, I would have done it for you alone.” I feel like God is speaking directly to me...and I can’t begin to tell you how amazing that feels.
Even more than that scene however is that fact that this book addresses the issue of Christians living after coming to Christ—and that we’re not alone in continuing to view ourselves worthless and to fall victim to ourselves, the world, and the enemy.
This book is a great comfort in my life, and a reminder anytime I get away from it of how important it is to read my Bible and follow the red path Home. — R. S.
A year ago I was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. Before I was diagnosed at age 31, cancer was the last thing on my mind. I just want to thank you for your book, Heaven, and the hope you share. I’ve been blown away by what you’ve written. I can’t put into words how deeply what you share has spoken to me and annihilated the fears about Heaven that I’ve had. — M.D.
