When I was dating my wife Nanci in high school, and had dinner with her parents, her dad and mom first told me this story. In years to come, I heard it a number of other times. I found it charming and funny, and just like Nanci! I asked her to write it up so you could enjoy it too.

I’m praying for quarterback Nick Foles, that he would be in the eye of the hurricane, experiencing the peace of Jesus. Nick turned 29 last week, so this is a lot of pressure on a young man, but he’s humble and grounded, and I know from interactions with him yesterday that God is giving him great peace. 

As owners of a Golden Retriever, Nanci and I can totally relate to this video. 

Elsewhere I’ve written about many myths and outdated grammar that people routinely think are correct, and they’re driven crazy by authors who are “wrong.” 

I love the transcendence of great music, a gift from our Creator who is, no surprise, creative! 

Most people you meet are partial to dogs or cats. Some, as in the case of the man in this video, are even partial to pigs.

Those of you who follow my blog or Facebook know that Nanci and I love dogs.

Our dear friend Diane Meyer, always alert to dog videos, passed this one on to us, and we enjoyed it. Also for cat lovers, though the cat has only one action scene.

God gives us greater and lesser reasons for laughter, but the lesser ones are a gift from Him also.
