Earlier this year, I spent a wonderful and exhausting four days at Biola University. I was certainly familiar with Biola by reputation, but my experience there exceeded expectations. What a pleasure it was to be in a place where God’s Word is actually believed and the cutting edge thing to do is not to depart from Scripture, but to be about Jesus and to start with the authority of His Word.
I have a lot of respect for Chuck Colson, who is in the hospital with a serious condition, in need of our prayers. I appreciate his involvement in helping the Christian community develop a godly worldview by keeping us informed about timely issues facing our nation.

What Scripture does say is that even when we’re not at fault, we are responsible to help the poor. “If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—and he will repay you!” (Proverbs 19:17 NLT).

I am an atheist and I accept all regardless of background, religion, culture, sexuality, etc. If you truly love someone then these things should not matter. I have been free from religion for 18 years now. I only hope more people see the truth and get out of the cult of religion so that they are able to live their lives how they want.
