Definition of Grace

Definition of Grace from Randy Alcorn on Vimeo.

In October of 2012 Randy spent a weekend at The Cove, The Billy Graham Association's conference center in Asheville, NC. Over the weekend Randy was interviewed by Dr. John Akers on the theme "Four Central Truths of A Biblical Worldview."
John begins discussion of this fourth book by asking Randy to define some terms, first of all "grace." Randy affirms the common definition that grace is God's unmerited favor. Randy goes on to explain both the unmerited aspect and the favor aspect of that definition. In doing so he emphasizes that grace is rooted in God's character and that grace is not only the means by which we are saved but also the means by which we must live.
