Does Isaiah 65:17 Mean We Will Not Remember Our Previous Lives?

Does Isaiah 65:17 Mean We Will Not Remember Our Previous Lives? from Randy Alcorn on Vimeo.

In October of 2012 Randy spent a weekend at The Cove, The Billy Graham Association's conference center in Asheville, NC. Over the weekend Randy was interviewed by Dr. John Akers on the theme "Four Central Truths of A Biblical Worldview."
Isaiah 65:17 says that the former things will not be remembered. Does this mean that in Heaven we will remember nothing about our previous lives? Randy explains that the emphasis in Scripture is that the past troubles will not be dominant. We will remember our previous lives but the memory of our sin and suffering will not diminish the joy of being with God.
