Why, O God?: Suffering and Disability in the Bible and the Church
I have never said yes to endorsing a book, much less to writing its foreword, unless I believed in it. I anticipated Why, O God?: Suffering and Disability in the Bible and the Church, edited by Larry Waters and Roy Zuck, would be good, but I am pleased to find it exceptional.






In the past few months, I have been repeatedly asked about the phenomenally popular book Heaven is For Real. This book was again number 1 on the May 8 New York Times bestseller’s list. It has already sold something like four million copies, and it’s not slowing down.
This is my third and possibly last blog on this subject. But given its importance to the gospel of Christ and the health of Christ’s body, I make no promises.

From time to time I like to review books on my blog. Who Made God?: Searching for a Theory of Everything is a book that offers ideas and insights most of us have never pondered. Author Edgar Andrews presents compelling arguments that challenge the prevailing mechanistic worldviews. His good humor helps him present weighty concepts and makes them easier to grasp.
