Four of Randy Alcorn's favorite quotes:
"I value all things only by the price they shall gain in eternity."
John Wesley
"Only one life, it'll soon be past, only what's done for Christ
will last."
C. T. Studd
"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot
lose."
Jim Elliot
Even when reading is impossible, the presence
of books acquired produces such an ecstasy that the buying of more
books than one can read is nothing less than the soul reaching towards
infinity... we cherish books even if unread, their mere presence
exudes comfort, their ready access, reassurance.

Passion
in His Pen
by Creston Mapes
An interview with Randy Alcorn
reavealing how God's hand guided his diversified writings, encouraged
his missions work, and saved his family.
Bestselling
author Randy Alcorn has an uncanny way of mystifying publishers
and booksellers. "You can't write fiction and nonfiction,"
they once protested. "And look at your topicsthey're
all over the map. How can you write with authority on subjects
ranging from eternity and sex to money and abortionand several
different kinds of fiction to boot? If you want to build readership,
you've got to stick to one thing! Readers have to know what to
expect." Read
