Can we really know in advance where we’re going when we die? The apostle John, the same one who wrote about the new heavens and New Earth, said in one of his letters, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13, emphasis added). We can know for sure that we have eternal life. We can know for sure that we will go to Heaven when we die.

Biblical Christianity is fundamentally a relationship with Christ, not a religion about Christ.
The issue seems to be what Muslims believe about Jesus Christ. My question would be: "What does your sister-in-law not believe about Jesus that keeps her from becoming a Christian?
There will be countless fascinating people I’ll have the joy of meeting in the ages to come. I’m touched and grateful to God to know that Evel Knievel will be among them.

Randy Alcorn discusses Heaven, answering the question," How can people go to Heaven?" on the Janet Mefferd Show. March 2010.
For every American polled who thinks they are going to Hell, there are 120 who think they’re going to Heaven. Author Randy Alcorn explains that Heaven isn’t our “default destination” and that specific preparation must be made if we are to safely arrive in Heaven.
A recent poll indicated that for every American who believes he or she is going to Hell, there are 120 who believe they’re going to Heaven.
In my book Heaven I explore the beauties, wonders and adventures of resurrected living with the resurrected Jesus on the New Earth. What lies ahead for the follower of Christ is fantastic and thrilling on a cosmic scale. But as I was writing, I thought how ironic and tragic it would be for some readers to get excited about Heaven, then end up assuming they’re going there when in fact they aren’t.
Randy answers the question, "How could a loving God send anyone to Hell?"
How do you know whether or not someone who is homosexual and claims to know Jesus is truly a Christian? You say at the end of your article about the End of the Spear controversy, “How I would love to one day embrace actor Chad Allen as my brother.” How do you know he is not your brother already? Because he is gay? I am a Christian and am gay myself. The fact that he happens to be gay is so incredibly insignificant.
P. S. I’m also always perplexed by the term “gay activist” since most conservatives label everyone ...
