Question from a reader: I am a correspondent for older children sponsored by a Christian organization. I want to send them Bible study techniques, but most likely the vast majority of my kids have NO access to anything but their Bible—no concordances, dictionaries, etc. Do you have some tips to give the kids on studying the Bible during their own quiet time?

Jesus encourages and commands us to give both our money and our time in caring for others. God will reward us for our faithfulness in both of these areas.

When we look at Scripture there is a sense in which we, as believers, have already been sanctified (Hebrews 10:10). But even more clear is that sanctification is a process (Hebrews 10:14). Looking at what God means by justification will help make clear what sanctification is.

I would encourage you to talk to your husband again in a respectful, humble, gracious way and simply share your heart with him. Ask him how he would like you to respond to your kids when they ask questions.
