Thanking God for 2012, and Looking to the Year Ahead

EPMThere’s nothing like the grace of God, is there? As 2012 comes to a close, Nanci and I are thanking Him for the many surprising ways He is using Eternal Perspective Ministries to make an eternal impact. EPM supports many ministries through the giving of my book royalties around the world. But it’s much more than that.

Our wonderful EPM staff serves as a vital resource to the many people who contact us weekly with good questions. Some are related to worthy organizations to give to and pray for; others are personal and family questions; some are about books I’ve written, or about help in finding a Bible-teaching local church. We have a staff member who researches what churches to refer people to, and one who writes hundreds of letters to the male and female prisoners who contact us requesting books and spiritual guidance.

EPM continues to expand with every new book, magazine, speaking opportunity, phone call, email and visit to our website (which has had over 900,000 visits just this year) and social media (do you follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter?) We find ourselves in contact with more and more people each month, and we’re joyfully laboring to keep up. (In January, we’ll be providing supporters with a year-end letter that will give a more detailed look into what we were involved with in 2012.)

More than anything, I would ask your prayers for our ongoing ministry in 2013. Daily we are humbled and amazed to see remarkable responses from people all over the world who are being touched by this ministry. Nanci and I are so proud of our terrific staff. We thank God for their servants’ hearts and Christ-like character. And we thank you for lifting us up before our King and for being a vital part of EPM this past year.

I thank my God every time I remember you.  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now (Philippians 1:3-5).
