I am convinced that it is permissible to both seek churches that adhere to the inerrancy of Scripture and provide opportunities for growth, while also satisfying some of our cultural and stylistic proclivities. BUT I have realized that even the search for the perfect church can become an idol.

I was honored to be interviewed by Ben for his documentary. He asked lots of great questions, and we talked about how prolifers can make a difference, what the terms prochoice and prolife mean, and the role of men in abortion.

I believe God has raised Ben Watson up to be a spokesman for two causes very close to the heart of God that are also two of the most controversial and important issues in American life: pro-life justice and racial justice. His strong and heartfelt pro-life commitment has driven him and his wife Kirsten to make a powerful new film called “Divided Hearts of America.”

I’ve mentioned before my profound appreciation for New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson. He wrote an article about our call to finish life well, to God’s glory. I was encouraged by what he wrote, and hope you will be, too.

The 44^th annual March for Life took place last Friday, January 27 in Washington, D.C. One of this year’s speakers at the rally was Baltimore Ravens tight end Ben Watson. I love this brother and so appreciate his willingness to speak out on behalf of the unborn.
