Forty-five years ago when I was in Bible college, we used to pray for Nepal, a country that was synonymous with the most closed and unreached and unlikely place for Christians to be. The very small number of Christians there made it seem incredible that a Christian book would ever be published in their language.

This Friday, September 24, the Courageous movie will be released in select theaters in honor of the 10th anniversary of its original release. Some of you may know that I wrote a novel by the same title that was based on the screenplay of the movie. Both the movie and the book center on police officers and fatherhood and, not surprisingly, COURAGE for men in their homes and personal lives.

Despite the fact that I finished writing it in 1993, twenty-eight years ago, in the last few months, our ministry has received multiple reader responses to Deadline. I have long believed that the Holy Spirit providentially brings certain books to the fore at certain times, touching many hearts even with older books and sometimes not bestsellers.
