Our ministry, EPM, encourages people to live in light of eternity, and one of the ways we seek to do so is by having a presence on several major social media sites. 

If Solomon were alive today and we were to ask him how we are to relate to one another in this digital world, if we were to ask him how we can honor God in our use of all these social media available to us today, here is how he might respond.

If we had ears to hear, we’d notice the sound of a vacuum sucking time, coming from computers and phones and televisions and car radios and…lots of other places.

The video in this blog is an incredible look at how far technology has advanced and is changing, even just within the past year. As you watch it, remember that technology is a part of society or culture, which is the creative accomplishment of God’s image-bearers. 

As many of you know, I am on both Facebook and Twitter, where I frequently post short updates and devotional thoughts. Some people may ask if as a Christian, being on Facebook and Twitter and other social networking sites is really worth it, or just a waste of time.
