John Oehser

A 20-year veteran of sports journalism, Oehser joined Indiana University’s National Sports Journalism Center in August 2009 as NSJC sports media Web site editor.

Oehser spent nearly eight years with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League as Colts.com writer. Prior to that, he worked at the (Jacksonville, Fla.) Florida Times-Union, where he was the Jacksonville Jaguars beat writer, NFL writer, University of Florida athletics beat writer and high school sports writer. He also wrote takeouts, enterprise pieces and columns on the NFL, PGA Tour, NASCAR and other sports.

Oehser now is a freelance writer, covering the Colts and other sports for various outlets. He is the editor of indyfootballreport.com.

Two hours into the breakfast, emcee Brent Jones introduced Dungy, who was welcomed with a lengthy standing ovation. Dungy thanked the crowd, shared an anecdote about Martin, then told the crowd he was going to speak for about 15 minutes.
