Dismiss Hell and You Dismiss Jesus
The truth is that the oldest and most reliable biblical manuscripts include Christ’s explicit statements about Hell. The gospel writers didn’t make up their Lord’s words in the gospels. They simply recorded them.
Can Those in Hell See Beyond the Chasm into Heaven?
Question from a reader:Based on Luke 16:19-31, the story of the rich man and Lazarus, will those in Hell be able to see beyond the chasm? (In verse 26, Abraham tells the rich man, “Between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.”)

How Can Our Default Destination Be Hell if We Are One of the Elect?
I don't deal with election in the Heaven book, though I do believe in election, since the Bible teaches it. Election does not change the default destination issue. All are conceived and born in sin, that is the sense in which our default destination is hell. Without God's intervention that's where we'll go. That's the point, and biblically it's not debatable.

Do You Think Hell Is Located in the Center of the Earth?
I don't believe hell is in the center of the earth. I think it doesn't exist in this dimension, but in one outside of our own, and therefore is not located inside the earth. It's very real, as Heaven is, but as far as I can tell from Scripture, it is not located within the confines of the physical universe we know.
