I’m a pastor who has been blessed by Randy’s books. In the foreword to Lord Foulgrin’s Letters, Randy writes about Satan and demons, “This is the one conspiracy theory that is right on target.” I am planning to do a sermon series using 1 Corinthians 10:19-20, as well as 1 Peter 5:8, to get into the fact that the enemy hates us because we are the image bearers of the King, and that is why we see abortions, and also gender mutilations, euthanasia, divorce, sexual craziness. They are all part of the one true conspiracy theory. Are there any books or resources you’d recommend related to these topics?

I have heard positive things about Nancy Pearcey’s book Love Thy Body. I did a quick search inside, and while I don’t see much specifically on the spiritual warfare involved with abortion, she does talk about evil quite a bit. Chapter 2 on abortion is titled, “The Joy of Death.”

This article from Nancy, related to her book, talks about how all the issues you mentioned are related because they all demonstrate hatred for the body God has made.

Here Randy writes: “Another place I’ve felt that throat clenching darkness is at abortion clinics. Once I opened a dumpster at an abortion clinic and saw blood and flesh. I was overwhelmed with a horror that wasn’t like something made to look bad in a movie, but was real and undiluted evil, from the very pit of Hell. Satan, the murderer, and the one who lies to cover his murders, loves to kill children. As I looked at destroyed human flesh in that dumpster, I could feel his hatred. The devil is the ultimate serial killer.”
