In this clip from a conversation with Jay Rudolph on The Plumb Line Radio Show, Randy talks about our resurrection bodies in reference to 1 Corinthians 15. He explains that we will have our resurrection bodies on the New Earth after the resurrection, but not in the Present Heaven.

Wishful thinking is not the reason why, deep in our hearts, we desire a resurrected life on a resurrected Earth instead of a disembodied existence in a spiritual realm. Rather, we desire it precisely because God intends for us to be raised to new life on the New Earth.

As C. S. Lewis expressed in his space trilogy, we have become “bent” (sinful) versions of what God intended. Your deceitfulness, laziness, lust, deafness, disability (including lost limbs), and disease are not the real you.
