Each phase of life is different, with its own challenges but also its own rewards. The way to contentment is to trust God’s purposes in our present circumstances.

The Lord does not call us merely to release our anxiety to Him, but to willingly cast it upon Him—and not some of it, but all of it. God wants us to trust Him in both the big things and the little things.

But as the author, I know that in the end all their suffering will be worth it, since it’s critical to their growth, and to the redemptive story.
