There are people who reason, If I give generously, I’ll have to worry about where the money will come from to replace what I’ve given. But Jesus teaches that generous giving isn’t a cause for insecurity and worry. It’s a cure for it.

Someone can certainly say it has worked fine for them, and sometimes it does, but it doesn't change my conviction that “most of the time” it’s not a wise financial decision.

Randy was a guest speaker at the university student session of the Kingdom Advisors conference in 2025.
