Downtown Portland is a busy place and full of needy people. On this particular day I had forgotten my bag of goodies which I normally give out to those asking for money, so I was street hopping to avoid contact with anyone. 

I’ve been asked about sinless perfectionism, the belief that once someone becomes a Christian, they are no longer capable of sinning. 

I grew up without Christ and without the church. When I was in high school I attended a church for the wrong reason—to see a girl I'd met. But God can use even our wrong motives for his right purposes. (In fact, years later that girl became my wife!)
