I’m very pro-Israel, believing that God has a future purpose for the nation and that the U.S. should remain her steadfast ally. That doesn’t mean I believe the current nation of Israel, with its secular government, does everything right, and I think like every nation, including ours, it should be subject to evaluation and criticism.

I believe it comes down to a form of denial that is based upon protecting oneself from considering that as a Christian one may have been part of abortion promotion by means of a prescription.

Randy is, as far as I know, the most synthesized writer on the topic. By that I mean that he has done an extraordinary analysis of the available evidence and has put it into a format that is accessible and comprehensible to the average reader.

Is there a place where one crosses the line related to life issues? Life belongs to God, not to us.

These are some passages to study, meditate on and memorize. Some of these aren’t new to you, but they have a cumulative force as they touch different aspects of our struggles and God’s counsel to us.

There are Christians who are Libertarians and Constitution Party members, as well as Republicans and Democrats.

This is a tough issue, and the toughest part is that we’ve grown up in a society forged by people like Margaret Sanger, and the church has largely bought into a selfish, anti-child, population-control mentality.

As followers of Christ, we are to believe the truth (2 Thess. 2:12), love the truth (2:10) and walk in the truth (3 John 3). We are also to speak the truth, which sets us in stark contrast to “the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming” (Eph. 4:14). 

On November 9, almost six years from the day Aucas slew his son with four other missionaries in Ecuador, T. E. McCully of Wheaton, IL, visited the Aucas in their own village. He wanted to personally visit the tribe who had confessed their guilt in slaying the missionaries—all of whom now confessed belief in Christ.

I wrote this dialogue a few years ago for my book Deadline, but it was nonessential, so I removed it, and it's never been published until now. I hope some readers will find the interaction between these two men stimulating and useful.

Randy Alcorn loves giving, and he wants you to love giving. Just listen to him talk about giving, about joyful tithing and radical generosity. But fear not—Alcorn won’t guilt you into giving. Nor will he instruct you to sell your possessions, abandon all forms of entertainment or forego future vacations.

I have hesitations, but I’m not sure they’re valid.

Those who are now mistakenly embracing the Law are doing so because they see it as a good thing designed by God for our blessing.
