I first learned of Eliot Mooney maybe a year ago, but when someone else forwarded the video again recently, I thought it was time to feature it on this blog.  

Years ago in Washington, DC, I met a woman named Gianna Jessen, then a teenager. She sang at an event I was speaking at, and we had a delightful conversation. She is musically gifted and I found her a wonderful testimony to God’s grace.

One morning at the abortion clinic an arrogant, blasphemous man came roaring at me with graphic threats of what violent (though physiologically unlikely) tortures he was about to inflict on me.

A friend of ours was recently job hunting and came across an advertised opening at Planned Parenthood. Though she wasn't interested in the job there, she was interested in the terminology used in Planned Parenthood's self-description that follows

There’s a lot of abortion “discussion” among activists—combative rants where the participants talk at each other.  Do they listen?  Only enough to construct their next volley.

I've become aware of something that has to be heard to be believed: actual recordings of an actor calling various Planned Parenthood offices, pretending to want to donate money exclusively to abort black babies. Prepared to be blown away by the responses you hear. 

I'm interrupting my new series of blogs on longing. Why? Partly because today, January 22, is the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the most tragic judicial decision in American history. It’s also the annual March for Life, which I’ve participated in, and where my heart has been today.  

If you’re a woman who’s had an abortion, or advised another to have one, this article is for you. If you’re a man who’s been involved in an abortion decision—whether it concerned your girlfriend, wife, daughter, or anyone it’s also for you.

This is my fourth and final blog on presidential candidates. I said I’d comment on Ron Paul, the Texas congressman with libertarian ideals who is running for the Republican nomination.  

God will not judge me in light of whether I’ve followed conservativism or promoted Republicanism, but as to whether I have honored my Lord Jesus.
