Years ago I put together a number of Scriptures on the power of our words. Their cumulative weight is stunning. I encourage you to read them and meditate on them, and examine your heart and habits.

The Bible teaches human beings are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27; James 3:9). Not just Adam and Eve, but each individual since has been personally created by God (Malachi 2:10). Personhood is never measured by age, stage of development, or mental, physical, or social skills (Exodus 4:11).

Key #1. God owns everything. I’m His money manager.

There is a small but influential circle of prochoice advocates who claim to base their beliefs on the Bible. They maintain that “nowhere does the Bible prohibit abortion.” 

Stewardship isn’t a subcategory of the Christian life. Stewardship is the Christian life.

I am painfully aware that the subjects I address in this article are uncomfortable and controversial.

I wanted to thank you for taking this afternoon time out of your busy schedule so we could meet.

One day we'll learn of eternal results we never saw on earth.  

The Holy Spirit’s presence in the life of the reader is essential to his total understanding, appreciation, and implementation of Scripture (1 Corinthians 2:6-16).
