Randy Alcorn's Books for Prisoners

article - Eternal Perspective Ministries
Throughout EPM’s existence, we’ve received countless encouraging letters from readers, sharing how God has used Randy’s books to inspire them to live in light of eternity. But some of the most touching letters we’ve received are from a specific group of people: prisoners.

Only Do What Your Heart Tells You

article - Jon Bloom
Princess Diana once said, “Only do what your heart tells you.” This is a creed believed by millions. It’s a statement of faith in one of the great pop cultural myths of the Western world. It’s a gospel proclaimed in many of our stories, movies, and songs.

41 Evidences of Pride

article - Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
I have the greatest appreciation for Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Revive Our Hearts. It is my joy to have known Nancy for many years. I deeply respect her and the way she lives out the grace and truth of Jesus.

Are We to Blame for People’s Poverty?

article - Randy Alcorn
Neither God’s Word nor an accurate understanding of economics supports the notion that the prosperous are automatically responsible for making others poor. What Scripture does say is that even when we’re not at fault, we are responsible to help the poor. “If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—and he will repay you!” (Proverbs 19:17 NLT).
I Disagree with Some of Your Theological Positions. Are You Open to Discussing Them?

I Disagree with Some of Your Theological Positions. Are You Open to Discussing Them?

article - Randy Alcorn
My experience has been that writing long emails back and forth on areas of disagreement is rarely helpful in resolving a theological issue, particularly when both parties have arrived at their positions over a long period of time.

article - Lena Smith
Randy Alcorn shares his personal experience in discovering the joy of honoring God with one's possessions through an interview with The Chimes, Biola University's student newspaper.

Nick Vujicic: “He Uses Me Just the Way I am”

video - Randy Alcorn Randy's blog
In If God Is Good, I share the story of Nick Vujicic, a man born without arms or legs.

Maggie Grace: A Reflection of the Goodness of the God Who Made Her

video - Randy Alcorn Randy's blog
Recently when we were filming in my office, our Golden retriever Maggie, who is growing more each day, made a guest appearance. Thought I would share it with you. Maggie is a gift from God to Nanci and me. We love dogs in general and this one in particular.
Where Is the Judgment of Faith Found in the Bible?

Where Is the Judgment of Faith Found in the Bible?

article - Julia (Stager) Mayo
Question from a reader: I understand that the Lord allows His people to either enter the Intermediate Heaven or, if they have not come to the Lord in faith, to be sent to the Intermediate Hell…but I am wondering what passage of Scripture supports this statement.
Is God Both Man and Woman Combined?

Is God Both Man and Woman Combined?

article - Julia (Stager) Mayo
God is triune. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Father and Son are both explicitly masculine terms. The Holy Spirit could be viewed as gender neutral, through His comforting and nurturing roles suggest attributes we usually associate with females.

Questions on Heaven from Corban University Students

video - Randy Alcorn Randy's blog
Last month I did a Q&A on Heaven at Corban University’s chapel. I enjoyed meeting students and sharing what God’s word says about our eternal home.
Is Religion Bad?

Is Religion Bad?

article - Julia (Stager) Mayo
Question from a reader: I am an atheist and I accept all regardless of background, religion, culture, sexuality, etc. If you truly love someone then these things should not matter. I have been free from religion for 18 years now. I only hope more people see the truth and get out of the cult of religion so that they are able to live their lives how they want.
Will Heaven Be an Eternal Naptime or Will We Have Responsibilities?

Will Heaven Be an Eternal Naptime or Will We Have Responsibilities?

article - Eternal Perspective Ministries
The idea of endlessly floating on clouds doing nothing but strumming a harp is nowhere in Scripture.
Was Elijah Taken to Heaven in a Chariot of Fire or in a Whirlwind?

Was Elijah Taken to Heaven in a Chariot of Fire or in a Whirlwind?

article - Eternal Perspective Ministries
Question from a reader: On page 359 of your Heaven book, you mention speaking with the saints of old: “I would like to ask Elijah about being taken away in the chariot.” Elijah and Elisha were separated by a chariot of fire, but both NIV and KJV say in II Kings 2:11 that Elijah “went up to Heaven in a whirlwind.”

The Resolution For Men is a MUST read for any man who truly wants to be more Godly and live out his life with conviction and courage before God, his family and his fellow man.
