I’m not sure of the rapture’s timing. I affirm the second coming of Christ and am premillennial, but depending on what Scriptures one goes to, a case can be made for pre-trib, post-trib, mid-trib and various adaptations of those positions.

This is a tough issue, and the toughest part is that we’ve grown up in a society forged by people like Margaret Sanger, and the church has largely bought into a selfish, anti-child, population-control mentality.

Who determines which lives are meaningful and which aren’t? The answer, always, is that powerful people decide whether weaker people’s lives are meaningful.

As followers of Christ, we are to believe the truth (2 Thess. 2:12), love the truth (2:10) and walk in the truth (3 John 3). We are also to speak the truth, which sets us in stark contrast to “the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming” (Eph. 4:14).

Our view of heaven is comparable to standing out in a hallway and staring past an open door into a dark room. If you are trying to become published, stop looking for short cuts. Do not ask a published friend to introduce you to an editor, do not print your manuscript on pink paper, and do not send it to your favorite author in an e-mail. Simply write an irresistible story. Keep working at it until you find an editor who agrees.
