“Abortion has completely failed as a social policy designed to aid women,” writes Serrin Foster, president of Feminists for Life. “It is a reflection that we have failed women.”

I think it has some valid aspects to it, but I also think it breaks down. (Which doesn't mean it's a bad analogy, just a limited one. An analogy that is limited can still illustrate a valid point.)

I still can’t get around Christ’s words in Matthew 22, which seem to clearly refute the Sadducee’s assumptions that if there were a resurrection, it would mean marital partnerships from earth would carry over to the resurrected life, and therefore people would have multiple spouses.

I believe that as finite human beings who will live in space and time, we will go through a never-ending process of learning in Heaven, in that we will learn MORE as time goes on (Eph. 2:7). However, 1 Cor. 13:12 seems to suggest there will be immediate clarity of vision in God’s presence.

Every reference in Revelation to human beings talking and worshiping in Heaven prior to the resurrection of the dead demonstrates that our spiritual beings are conscious, not sleeping, after death.

My writing is a ministry, because ministry is service, and every aspect of our lives is to be a service that glorifies our Lord.

I’ve been searching online for something to help you concerning purgatory, and I’m not happy with anything I’ve found. Some are brief, but too brief, don’t cite sufficient Scripture, and are just too shallow.  

The teaching of the evangelical community has been 99.9% on the side of infant salvation. That's certainly where my heart is, and after reflecting on Scripture, if I had to put money on it, I'd put it on infants going to heaven when they die. But the difficulties involved are considerable.

The answer is yes, at least to some extent.

The motive of a true missionary is to proclaim the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ; he is concerned for the eternal souls of people. But he is also concerned about the whole person, which includes his physical welfare. If the missionary does nothing for the physical needs of the people around him, then he is not following the teachings of Scripture.

The issue seems to be what Muslims believe about Jesus Christ. My question would be: "What does your sister-in-law not believe about Jesus that keeps her from becoming a Christian?

In Heaven, we will recall some—likely most or all—of our lives on earth.  This is among the most controversial beliefs I’ve presented in my books, yet there’s clear scriptural evidence for it.

Based on scriptural evidence, I believe the answer is "yes."
