You’ve been through a lot of stuff, and searching for relief from the pain is totally understandable. The difficulty comes when you search in the wrong places. There isn’t a human on this planet who can remove your pain—not even you, because if you think about it, trading this life for a life in Hell means your pain is multiplied throughout eternity.

As Paul tells us, though we naturally grieve at losing Christian loved ones, we are not to “grieve like people who have no hope” (1 Thessalonians 4:13). Our parting is not the end of our relationship, only an interruption. We have not “lost” them, because we know where they are.

Just as you can take verses out of the Bible and argue for universalism, so you could take various things I say to argue for it, but then you have to look at the whole body of the argumentation.
